SESHL Season Opener: A Fierce Start in Charleston!
The 2025 South East Sled Hockey League (SESHL) season kicked off with an action-packed weekend in Charleston, SC! Carolina Sled Hockey, Charleston Warriors, Orlando Sled Bears, Queen City Sled Hockey, and Space Coast Blast came together to battle it out in the first tournament of the year. The competition was intense, proving just how evenly matched the C-tier teams are—except for Space Coast, which showed its dominance as a top-tier B-level team.
Every team walked away with at least one win, keeping the standings incredibly tight. No C-tier team was able to pull away, setting the stage for a thrilling season ahead. Space Coast leads the standings with a perfect 4-0 record, earning 12 points and not allowing a single goal all weekend. Carolina Sled Hockey and the Charleston Warriors remain neck and neck with 6 points each, while Orlando and Queen City sit tied at 3 points apiece.
With such a competitive start, all eyes now turn to the next SESHL tournament in Jacksonville, FL, in March, where teams will battle for critical playoff positioning. Who will rise to the top? Stay tuned and check out the schedule tab for full game recaps!
