THAT’S A WRAP IN JACKSONVILLE

The 2026 season of the Southeast Sled Hockey League (SESHL) is officially underway, and the opening tournament weekend in Jacksonville, FL proved to be a tremendous success. Teams from across the league came together for a highly competitive and energetic weekend that set the tone for what promises to be an exciting season.

After a full slate of games, Queen City Sled Hockey has jumped out to an impressive start in the standings, finishing the weekend with a strong 3-0-1 record. Their early performance puts them in a great position as the league begins to take shape.

Beyond the standings, the weekend was a celebration of competition, camaraderie, and the continued growth of sled hockey in the Southeast. It was great to see all teams back on the ice, battling hard, supporting one another, and earning valuable points as they begin their push toward the postseason.

Looking ahead, the SESHL Championship Weekend will take place in June in Columbus, GA. Teams will once again face off with playoff positioning on the line, making every game count as the race to the postseason intensifies.

In addition to the action-packed games, Championship Weekend will also feature the always exciting Sled Skills Competition. Athletes will showcase their talents in events including Accuracy Shooting, Hardest Shot, Fastest Skater, Relay, and the fan-favorite Goalie God competition.
